Rev-Counter Upgrades Surcharge
The surcharge* payable for a ‘Rev-counter upgrade’ is as follows...

 Type:  RV upgraded to... RVI  ( can be positive OR negative earth )  + 50%
Type:  RV upgraded to... RVC NEGATIVE earth only  + 100%
Type:  RVI ( version 1 or 2 ) upgraded to... RVC  NEGATIVE earth only  + 50%
Type:  RVI version 1 upgraded to... RVI version 2  NEGATIVE earth only  + 25%
Type:  RN  ( cable driven ) can only be upgraded to... RVC  NEGATIVE earth only  + 100%
*The surcharge is in addition to the basic advertised repair / service price
Upgrades to type RVC will work with electronic ignition ( OR points ignition if fitting electronic later )

 Note:  Rev-counter upgrades are only available on ‘Smiths & UK-Jaeger’ units
